Message From The President
Welcome players, coaches, parents and baseball 'fan'atics to our Winter Newsletter for North Jefferson Junior Baseball.  NJJBA concluded this past summer season with the hosting of four USSSA State Baseball Tournaments in the middle of July.  This was for both 11 and 14 year old player 'Major' and 'AAA' playing levels.  Of all the weekends for Mother Nature to pick to rain, it naturally was that weekend.  Three of those days experienced rain delays or re-schedules.  Even after a very long weekend, it was hard to believe that the summer 2001 baseball season for NJJBA was over.
That summer season however, was quickly followed by two months of Fall Baseball.  Now we find ourselves planning for NJJBA's 12th season, with the upcoming 2002 baseball season.  The purpose of this newsletter is to present information on that program and to thank all of those who were part of our program this past year.  Two additional sources of information are our voice mail system at (303) 422-7406 and our web site www.njjba.org.
NJJBA is a collaborative effort of many individuals, striving to address the best interests of all players of the Arvada and Westminster areas.  We work on providing a high quality, affordable and enjoyable baseball experience.  The focus remains on the players, their growth, development and enjoyment.  A special word of "thanks" to all our players, parents, coaches, board members and coordinators.
Baseball is a great game.  The spirit, emotion and competitiveness of youth baseball hopefully provides many fond memories for years to come.  I hope players, coaches and families who participated in this past season, found the season to be a positive and rewarding experience.  To new players in our association for the upcoming season, "Welcome Aboard".  I hope for you and yours a very happy holiday season.  May the excitement and anticipation that we all feel the 1st day of the season will be with you throughout the entire season.  Play Ball!
